BIO-ECONOMY:

In-depth exploration of the expanding potential of bio-based innovations in promoting sustainable development, advancing climate action, and facilitating circular economic growth.

The following startups were meticulously selected for the pitch session:

Rang Bio – Sustainable, non-pollutive biotech colors and dyes derived from microbes for a range of applications.

Buyofuel – Making biofuels more accessible and impactful through a digital platform

Recircle – EPR solutions, plastic credits, textile recycling, and rPET flakes to build sustainable packaging and reduce plastic waste.

PadCare – Integrated, hygienic, and eco-friendly solution for menstrual hygiene waste management

Carbon Strong – Low-carbon concrete alternative to reduce cement’s high CO2 emissions

• Albatross Energetics – Design HVAC systems that solve the problem—efficient air conditioning without wasted energy.

• RC Labs – Designs and manufactures Intelligent Battery Management Systems (BMS) for EVs and stationary energy storage solutions

• Saarthi Greentech – Hydrogen fuel systems that retrofit diesel engines into hydrogen-diesel hybrids

• Protonas – Low-cost polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) hydrogen fuel cell solutions

• Li-circle – Working on the Li-ion battery recycling industry through sustainable and innovative solutions

• Sunrise CSP – Designs, builds, and operates industrial heat and electricity generation plants using concentrated solar thermal energy.
