\u25cf Green Energy – Hydrogen, Ammonia, & Sustainable Fuel
\u25cf HVAC – Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning – Efficient and Sustainable Heating & Cooling Solutions
\u25cf Energy Generation – Sustainable Energy – Solar, Wind, Geothermal, Gravity Based
\u25cf Energy Storage – Batteries (Sodium Ion, Redox Flow, Metal Air, Li-Ion)
\u25cf eMobility – EV – eVTOL, 2W, 3W, 4W, Trucks
\u25cf Sustainable Materials – Plastics, construction (Green Cement, etc), Packaging<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. According to you which are the underserved climate tech sectors where more investments are needed but where investing currently is a challenge?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Energy Storage – Alternate Battery Chemistries to Li-Ion
\u25cf Green Ammonia
\u25cf Renewable Energy Generation – looking beyond Solar and Wind<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. What are the key challenges that you see in the Indian climate investment domain?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Need greater access to growth stage capital to support the early stage climate tech ecosystem
\u25cf A greater willingness to underwrite technology\/market risk from investors at the early stage
\u25cf Climate tech companies, especially ones building hardware, must demonstrate substantial outcomes to drive collective growth – which would not be possible without sufficient funding.
\u25cf Diversified funding\/support at the Research\/Academia level to bring out more entrepreneurs
\u25cf Greater action from Indian corporates to validate and adopt climate technologies developed by early stage startups in India<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. What are some of the climate tech innovations (Indian or global) that caught your attention?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Conversion of captured Carbon into derivatives for sustainable Fuel, Proteins, Amino Acids, etc
\u25cf Process to generate Green Ammonia
\u25cf Using waste heat from industry to generate energy
\u25cf Using Geothermal wells (Earth) as long duration energy storage systems
\u25cf Fully functional large scale Vanadium Redox Flow battery systems
\u25cf Space based solar power (using reflectors in the orbit)
\u25cf Use of heat pumps to reduce energy consumption in buildings
\u25cf Electrification of ships and trucks<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. If you had a magic wand that could give you just one wish, what would your wish be?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlimited access to clean energy would be able to solve a majority of global challenges. Given an option, we should create solutions to get such access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
