Portal Effort will focus on academia and skill development, students from varying domain will be made better aware of research activities and facilities of the CSIR laboratories.
Another focus of the campaign is to support more and more startups and entrepreneurship in India.
Excellent intention. Having interacted with quite a few of these, I can vouch that many of the CSIR facilities are indeed doing good work and have some really good brains.
The challenge will be convert this intent into implementation. While the assets are all there, the processes and approach that these research institutes currently follow need to change dramatically for them to become CoEs
