VC investments in electric scooter companies show no signs of abatement, and I, for one am surprised, because these are products with little entry barriers, almost no customer tie in, and in ultra competitive markets where incumbents can swoop in at short notice.
Perhaps it is the last bit that interests investors - that incumbents can swoop in, and also buy out, some of these firms to gain a faster foothold in the market.
